Infant Massage Classes Supported by the Sheboygan Service Club

The Family Resource Center of Sheboygan County is pleased to announce it has received a grant from the Sheboygan Service Club to support our infant massage classes in 2026.

The Family Resource Center’s infant massage program includes a series of 5 hour-long classes for caregivers and their infants. Each session introduces massage techniques for a different part of the body, with instructors demonstrating and providing guidance to caregivers practicing with their babies. Classes include guided parent discussions and build sequentially, providing both skill development and peer support. In addition to learning infant massage, the program offers caregivers the opportunity to connect with other families.

Infant massage is a powerful way for caregivers to bond with their babies, support healthy development, and build confidence in responding to their child’s cues. Through gentle, intentional touch, caregivers can help promote better sleep, improve digestion, and reduce fussiness, while also strengthening attachment and emotional connection. These moments of one-on-one interaction can have lasting benefits for both the child and caregiver, fostering a sense of security, trust, and overall well-being.
