Parent-focused classes are available throughout the year. See our calendar for upcoming options. Classes are also available for large groups in a variety of settings, including your business. Positive Parenting Practices (Triple P)

Parent Educators are trained and accredited in presenting positive skills, strategies and information about parenting practices that can be applied to many situations and scenarios. The two formats in which Triple P is presented within our community is through Seminars, (The Power of Positive Parenting, Raising Confident, Competent Children, or Raising Resilient Children) or through Discussion Groups, (Hassle-free Mealtimes with Children, Hassle-free Shopping with Children, Developing Good Bedtime Routines, Managing Fighting and Aggression, or Dealing with Disobedience). Each format is about 90 minutes in length and offers an opportunity for parents to connect with other parents who are also learning new strategies to strengthen their parenting skills.

Parenting the Love and Logic Way®

This parenting series is an engaging, four-class series offering the opportunity for parents to share, discuss and apply parenting strategies over the course of the series with the support of trained facilitators. Topics include the following: putting an end to arguing, back talk and begging, teaching responsibility without losing love, setting enforceable limits, avoiding power struggles, guiding kids to solve their own problem,  and teaching kids to complete chores without reminders.  Through humorous video examples and discussion-oriented activities, participants will gain confidence in applying new techniques and feel good about their relationship between themselves and their child.
