A Buzz-Worthy Night at Our 3rd Annual Spelling Bee Fundraiser
Last month, our hive was buzzing with excitement as we welcomed community members, supporters, and spelling teams to our 3rd Annual Spelling Bee Fundraiser! The evening was filled with laughter, connection, and plenty of friendly competition, all in support of the programs and families we serve.
One Sweet Night
Guests sweetened their night by participating in our new “Buy a Letter” game, where everyone had a chance to win a prize, while others explored and bid on items in our silent auction.
Throughout the evening, attendees also heard inspiring 
stories from program participants, reminding us all of the impact community support has on local families and children.
And the Competition was on…
Of course, the highlight of the night was watching teams go head-to-head in a lively battle of words. From 
confident spellings to a few bee-wildering moments, the room was full of cheers, laughs, and encouragement. After several exciting rounds, Mead Public Library, sponsored by Bank First, took home the championship trophy by correctly spelling the word feuilleton.
Most importantly, thanks to the generosity of our attendees, sponsors, donors, and volunteers, we raised over $15,000 to support our programs and continue serving families in our community. We are incredibly grateful for everyone who helped make this event such a success and for the continued support that allows our work to grow year after year.
