Family Resource Center of Sheboygan County Welcomes New Executive Director

The Family Resource Center of Sheboygan County is pleased to announce that Kirsten Cooper, MSW, has joined our organization as the new Executive Director.

Kirsten brings over 15 years of nonprofit leadership experience, including 12 years as the Executive Director of the Autism Society of Greater Wisconsin. She has dedicated her career to championing impactful programs that strengthen communities, enhance education, and support families. Her expertise and passion for fostering thriving, connected communities make her an excellent fit to lead the Family Resource Center into an exciting new chapter.

Kirsten succeeds Trisha Erpelding, who has served as Executive Director since 2022. During her tenure, Trisha made significant strides in advancing our mission—spearheading initiatives like the Annual Spelling Bee fundraiser, expanding programs and building meaningful connections with community partners and local families. The Family Resource Center is deeply grateful for Trisha’s dedication and the lasting impact of her leadership.

We invite you to join us in thanking Trisha for her service and warmly welcoming Kirsten to the Family Resource Center team.

As we move forward, our dedicated team remains committed to delivering high-quality parent education and literacy programming to families across Sheboygan County.
