Tutor Training Series
October 23 @ 5:15 pm - 7:45 pm CDT
The Literacy Council needs volunteers to help our adult learners reach their reading, writing, and speaking goals. You do not need prior teaching experience to become a tutor – just a desire to help, a high school diploma, and 1-2 hours/week to give. We offer free training and will pair you with a compatible adult student. Volunteers must attend both nights of training, which will be held October 23 and 26, from 5:15-7:45 pm. Dinner will be provided.
(Training will be held at the Mead Public Library in the Imaginarium, on the 2nd floor.)
