Volunteer Opportunity: Become a Literacy Tutor
The Literacy Council is looking for volunteers to help adult learners reach their reading, writing, and speaking goals. Your time and encouragement can truly change a life.
What to expect
- Set a schedule that works for you
- Meet in convenient public locations such as libraries or local churches
- No bilingual skills required – all that’s needed is a high school diploma and a willingness to help
- No teaching experience needed — free training and resources are provided
