We’re Hiring: Adult Learning Coordinator

We’re Hiring: Join our Team as an Adult Learning Coordinator

The Family Resource Center of Sheboygan County is seeking an Adult Learning Coordinator to join our Literacy Council team and help create welcoming, individualized learning experiences for adults in our community.

Our Literacy Council helps adults strengthen their English language, reading, writing, speaking, and other foundational skills through one-on-one tutoring, community-based classes, GED preparation, and Workplace Literacy programming. Many of the adults we serve are English language learners working toward goals such as communicating more confidently, advancing at work, supporting their children’s education, or becoming more connected to the community.

The Adult Learning Coordinator will guide adult learners through their learning journey, from initial intake and goal setting to ongoing assessment, support, and connection with community resources. This position will also help coordinate community-based English classes and GED preparation programming, conduct learner evaluations for our Workplace Literacy program, maintain program data, and collaborate with volunteer tutors and other members of our literacy team.

We are looking for someone who sees the strengths in every learner, enjoys building trusting relationships, and values accurate data as a tool for strengthening support and sharing meaningful stories of progress.

This is a 20-hour-per-week position with a wage range of $19–$21 per hour. The position offers some flexibility with regular work from our Plymouth office and travel to classes, meetings, and other community activities. Bilingual candidates, particularly those who speak English and Spanish or English and Hmong, are encouraged to apply.

If you are excited about creating welcoming learning opportunities and helping adults build skills, confidence, and greater independence, we would love to hear from you.
