DESCRIPTION:The Literacy Council needs volunteers to help our adult learners reach their reading\, writing\, and speaking goals. You do not need prior teaching experience to become a tutor – just a desire to help\, a high school diploma\, and 1-2 hours/week to give. We offer free training and will pair you with a compatible adult student. Volunteers must attend both nights of training\, which will be held October 23 and 26\, from 5:15-7:45 pm.
