SUMMARY:SENSATIONAL BABIES: Infant Massage 5-Week Series
DESCRIPTION:Learn relaxing massage routines\, identify cues and behavioral states\, and learn methods to stay connected as baby grows. We gradually introduce new strokes over the course of 5 weeks while you build attachment and community with other parents & caregivers. \nFREE\,  5-week session (all 5 Thursdays are required- February 6\, 2025- March 6th\, 2025) 11:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. Held virtually over Zoom. You just need you and your baby! Class is taught by Certified Educators of Infant Massage (CEIMs). \nRecommended for Infants- 8 weeks-Pre-crawling. SUMMARY:Bring Your Own Baby (BYOB)
DESCRIPTION:Join parents\, caregivers\, and kiddos ages 0-2 y/o to socialize\, learn\, and play. The program is led by therapists and educators from our staff\, Family Connections\, and Progressive Beginnings\, and features an interactive sensory play experience that is just right for this age group. Each playgroup will feature a different theme/topic and is generally held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month\, and is held at MEAD PUBLIC LIBRARY. \nAvailable sessions are either 9:30-10:30 am OR 4:30-5:30 pm \nRegistration is no longer required!

DESCRIPTION:We all know what it’s like to face that moment when our children just don’t do as they’re told. This discussion group will give some positive parenting strategies to help you teach your child to accept limits\, do as they are told\, and to understand the meaning of the word ‘no’. During this group discussion\, you will meet other parents and share some of your experiences and ideas about managing disobedience. \nThe class is open to the community\, but registration is required by February 6th. \nFOR LAKE COUNTRY ACADEMY FAMILIES ONLY– Childcare is available on a first-come\, first-served basis\, and advanced registration is required. \nCost is free\, but online donations are greatly appreciated.
