SUMMARY:Bring Your Own Baby (BYOB)
DESCRIPTION:Join parents\, caregivers\, and kiddos ages 0-2 y/o to socialize\, learn\, and play. The program is led by therapists and educators from our staff\, Family Connections\, and Progressive Beginnings\, and features an interactive sensory play experience that is just right for this age group. Each playgroup will feature a different theme/topic and is generally held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month\, and is held at MEAD PUBLIC LIBRARY. \nAvailable sessions are either 9:30-10:30 am OR 4:30-5:30 pm \nRegistration is no longer required!

DESCRIPTION:During childhood\, kids often argue with their parents and siblings as they learn how to be assertive while also following the unwritten rules of our society. While quite common\, it can still be challenging to know how to handle this behavior. During this group\, you’ll have the opportunity to meet other parents\, share your experiences with managing aggression &/or sibling conflict\, & learn positive parenting strategies to help you establish family rules\, encourage children to problem-solve\, & how you can deliver effective consequences. \nThe class is open to the community\, but registration is required by January 12th. \nFOR LAKE COUNTRY ACADEMY FAMILIES ONLY– Childcare is available on a first-come\, first-served basis\, and advanced registration is required. \nCost is free\, but online donations are greatly appreciated.
