SUMMARY:Tutor Training Series
DESCRIPTION:The Literacy Council needs volunteers to help our adult learners reach their reading\, writing\, and speaking goals. You do not need prior teaching experience to become a tutor – just a desire to help\, a high school diploma\, and 1-2 hours/week to give. We offer free training and will pair you with a compatible adult student. Volunteers must attend both nights of training\, which will be held October 23 and 26\, from 5:15-7:45 pm. Dinner will be provided. \n(Training will be held at the Mead Public Library in the Imaginarium\, on the 2nd floor.) \nTo learn more\, register\, or if you have questions\, email Shannon at literacy@frc-sc.org or call her at (920) 449-2073 or 920-892-6706. \nYou can also register by completing a tutor application found on this page. \n
