About Me: I’ve studied foreign languages all my life and graduated from UW-Madison with a BA in Italian. While I was at Madison, I taught an English discussion and pronunciation class at the community center. Learning about new languages and cultures thrills me, so being an ESL tutor in Madison and now, in Sheboygan, is one of my favorite things. I have been working with the Literacy Council for a year and half and am amazed by the persistence and passion our students have both for learning English and for connecting with our tutors and community. Also, working in hospitality at Kohler allows me to meet and work with people from all over, something I really enjoy. In addition to volunteering with the Literacy Council, I am the vice president of the Italian American Women’s Club in Madison and enjoy helping the I-94 Project fight human trafficking in Wisconsin.
